So what got you into Crossfit?
I started CrossFit 5 years ago in Detroit, Michigan. After being exposed to CrossFit and discovering how I can implement what I learned with functional movement into my job as athletic trainer, I pursued my Crossfit L1 certification.
What brought you to Cambridge?
\I was brought to Cambridge because I accepted a job as a tactical athletic trainer with the US Air Force, where I am working to create and implement injury prevention programs and provide therapeutic rehabilitation for injuries.
What is your experience in the fitness industry?
I have been working in sports medicine for 7 years and hold a bachelors degree, masters degree, and other professional certifications such as NASM-Performance Enhancement Specialist.
Before the Air force I was the head trainer for a professional mens football club in Detroit.
What hobbies do you have outside of crossfit?
My hobbies include traveling, trying new foods, and hiking. So living in the UK so close to Europe allows my husband and I do that as much as possible during our time here.
I am excited to begin coaching at Crossfit Stags and does to share my skills and knowledge.
